The metal tubes have a helical profile and are made of galvanized steel according to the European standard EN1991-2: 2007. The steel used is also according to the European standards EN 10326: 2006 and EN 10327: 2006, type S250 GD with zinc layer thickness 600 g / sqm (42 µm on both sides) or 1000 g / sqm (70 µm on both sides) with guaranteed corrosion resistance up to 100 years.

For the construction of an underground shelter, the diameter of the tube is 3 m, it is the size allowed for optimal road transport as well as for obtaining a watertight and comfortable home for people. The length of the capsule can be a maximum of 12 m long.
